Grade 6 Transition to High School

RHS welcomed Grade 6 students once again, this time to experience a ‘real’ day at high school.

Two Periods of  Humanities saw our 2024 Year 7 cohort study maps and create a map of their own Island using ‘Rice Islands’; in Woodcraft they made a whistle and in Textiles an applique patch. Students were very proud of the work they took home.

Thank you so much to our 2023 Year 7 helpers: Mia, Macy, Juni, Tayla, Molly, Alegra, Tiarna, Lexie, and Makayla. You all did a fantastic job assisting in the Humanities and Art-Technology subjects, and supporting Grade 6 students around the campus during Recess and Lunch. You are to be commended on the way you represented your school. A special thank you to our Transition Coordinator, Mr Ron Webb. Well done all!
